In the 70's & 80's, it was pretty common to have one's last name on the door of the business but this is not as popular today. Since the ownership no longer includes either of the two founders, the decision was made that it was time for a name change and "Axiom Northwest Inc." was chosen. The word Axiom is Greek in it's heritage and it's meaning is honor, worthy or truth, depending how it is used in a sentence. We are working hard at being good partners to our customers and manufacturers alike so that it is somewhat appropriate to our calling.

Clearly, the name Brett-Ross Inc. has a significant amount of recognition and goodwill with both customers and manufacturers, and we will make every effort to transfer this to the new company name. This will result in the following transition phase.

We will be operating as Brett-Ross/Axiom Northwest for a certain period of time, to be followed by Axiom Northwest (formerly Brett-Ross Inc.). Once the Axiom Northwest name is firmly established, we will then drop the reference to Brett-Ross Inc.
